The Twilight Tree Nabber is a cryptid from a fanstasy world that I created. It is a part of a little town's folklore and is a creature that is said to be the cause of unexplainable disappearances.

Lore

The people of this world are fascinated with the sky. To them, stars are divine, omniscient objects that watch over everything and often give ambiguous advice or information. The is said to have watched as humans looked towards the sky and pointed out the brightest stars. In the dark of night, when the sky is clear, the creature will stick its lure head out above the tree tops, or will apear amidst the trees. It looks like the most beautiful big star anyone has ever seen, so of course, the people are curious. It brings them in closer, just until the star hovers right above them, where they think they can reach it. While they are distracted, long arms grab them, and take them into the forest, never to be seen again.
